Trustee assessment for .SU domains

.SU sits in its own administration context. The verification rules written for .RU and .РФ do not automatically extend to it, and neither does the trustee route that goes with them. Nothing here should be read across from a .RU case without being checked first.

The practical start

Nothing gets quoted or promised until the current registrar has confirmed the .SU policy it applies to your account and we have seen who sits on the administrator record. That order is deliberate.

Start with whoever holds it now

Your registrar can answer this faster than we can, and its answer is the one that governs the account. Ask which .SU terms apply, what identity route it accepts, and what status the domain is currently in. With those on the table, we can review whether a workable service path exists at all. Without them, anything we offered would be a guess dressed as advice.

The common mistake is ordering a .RU trustee arrangement and expecting it to attach to a .SU name. It does not follow automatically, and finding that out after payment helps nobody.

Pricing and paperwork do not transfer

Prices may not match .RU, and the document set may not either. A .SU case therefore gets its own quote rather than being folded into a .RU one.
