This page is the audit trail. Every regulatory claim elsewhere on the site traces back to one of the links below, and the log records the date we last checked them. Last reviewed 15 September 2026. We rewrite the explanations when a primary rule moves or when a registrar changes how it processes applications, not on a publishing schedule.
Change log
Newest entry first. Each one records what was reviewed, what changed on the site, and what we could not reconcile.

Read Atak Domain’s ESIA and trustee-service guidance, then reworked the site against it. Added: the administrator-change document requirements, the NIC-D account details, the first-year cost breakdowns, and the annual trustee fee currently quoted at USD 99.
One item was left unresolved on purpose. Some public pages still state USD 99.99, the two figures have not been made to agree, and so the final order total has to be confirmed before payment.
Registry-level rules and registrar processing were kept apart throughout. They move at different speeds, and treating them as one thing is the most common route to the wrong deadline.

Primary-source reading
These are published by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, which administers the zone. Where this site and the Coordination Center disagree, the Coordination Center is right.
- Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ: administrator verification update Published 29 April 2026 · cctld.ru
- Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ: regulatory changes from 1 September 2026 cctld.ru
We read these for the regulatory background. What your own registrar can actually process, on the day you ask it, is a separate question and needs case-specific confirmation.
Supplier’s own pages
Operator guidance and current service policy
The next three come from Atak Domain, which operates this site. A supplier describing its own process and its own prices is useful evidence of current practice, and it is not a regulatory source. Pricing moves without a rule behind it. A guide can go stale without anyone announcing it.
- Atak Domain’s ESIA, trustee pricing and administrator-change guide Service process and pricing published August 2026 · atakdomain.com
- Atak Domain’s current .RU page Registrar transition, registration and renewal context · atakdomain.com
- Russian-language administrator-change form (.DOCX) Confirm the current registrar and NIC-D details before signing · atakdomain.com
Download that form fresh instead of reusing a saved copy. The registrar and NIC-D values written into it do change, and a notarised application carrying last year’s details starts the whole exercise again.
Our current quoted annual trustee fee is $99. Older public pages still show $99.99. The gap is 99 cents and it changes nothing about the decision — leaving it undisclosed would change what this page is for. Confirm the total on the order screen before you pay. No published figure, this one included, is the invoice.
